Celebrate conservation and community

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8, 11AM - 2PM

Experience Coffman Ranch and connect with your community at AVLT's Party in the Pasture! Enjoy live music from Rodrigo and the Engstrom Brothers, locally-sourced lunch from the Painted Pig, Casey Brewing beers, Aquila Cellars cider and wine, conservation demos, and kids' activities.

This is a great opportunity to spend the day outdoors and learn about and engage with conservation. Several of our partners will be providing activities, including:​​

• Soil testing demos with Pitkin County Open Space & Trails and CSU Ag Extension
• Stewardship Games with Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers (great for teens!)
• Therapy animals with Smiling Goat Ranch
• Macro-invertebrate discovery with Roaring Fork Conservancy
• Fiber weaving with Farm Collaborative
• Rosybelle kids' crafts with Carbondale Arts
• Watershed model activity with the Conservation District
• Educational activity with Aspen Center for Environmental Studies
• And many more!

Biking is strongly encouraged. A complimentary shuttle will be available from the Town of Carbondale public lot to the ranch every ten minutes. Parking is reserved for ADA vehicles only. Tickets are $10 for adults and kids ages 12 and under are free! Meal tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for kids. You must purchase an entry ticket in addition to your meal and you are encouraged to purchase your lunch in advance as well as quantities will be limited. Beer, cider, and wine will be available for purchase on-site.
