HENRY STEIN PARK Take a break at this AVLT-owned park while walking or biking along the Rio Grande Trail in Aspen. Visitors can access Slaughter House Falls downriver or relax and enjoy the view of Red Butte.

MARBLE CHILDREN'S PARK Marble Charter School's recess area also welcomes the public year-round, serving as a hub for recreation, community events on AVLT-owned conserved land.

REDSTONE COKE OVENS In 1903 Italian stonemasons built 250 igloo-like ovens to produce coke, a product used for smelting iron ore. AVLT bought the ovens and had them designated as historic. Pitkin County now owns the historic entrance to Redstone.

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSITE Four miles from the summit of Independence Pass, at a 10,900ft elevation, is a ghost town. Once a booming town of gold prospectors, this land is surrounded by National Forest and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
